Meet K. A. Monaco

Kim Monaco, born in Pennsylvania, is now a resident of Maryland with her beloved husband and best friend, Mark, and their two frisky sibling English Setters. She holds a Bachelor of Science, but her first love is writing, which began early in life.

She writes about competent women: self-aware, capable heroines who navigate impossible situations with skill, grit, and hard-won wisdom. Her stories range across worlds. One heroine might command the deck of a pirate ship, another wield a sword in a medieval kingdom, and another survive as a vampire in the modern day. Whatever the setting, her women earn their place in it.

Blending action and adventure with history, the paranormal, mystery, romance, and science fiction, K. A. grounds even her most fantastical tales in real science and psychology. Her conviction is simple: if anything in this world should make sense, it's a good story. If you enjoyed her books, please leave a review on Amazon or where you purchased it.
